Lava Dive Charters

Due to a catastrophic event
at the site the HOT LAVA DIVES are presently on hold! Recently a
bench collapse occurred sending over 20 acres of lava off the edge of
the flow into the ocean. Fortunately no-one was injured. We will
update when conditions stabilize. Nautilus Dive Center offers many
other exciting activities, such as lava-tubes and arches, shipwrecks
and Turtle City. Imagine seeing over 20 large, green sea-turtles on
one dive!

New land the size of several football fields can collapse into the
ocean with little or no warning, and the intensity of lava-seawater
explosions can change suddenly. Find out how new land is created
when lava enters the sea and how to identify areas near lava-entry
points that are safe for viewing.
